Squidgy has proven himself to be one of the most successful & genuine M&M LR in the country
This was demonstrated by being 3rd in the first HOYS qualifier and winning & going champ at the 2nd this year
Although totally lightly home produced, with a borrowed jockey Squidge has consistently beaten proven, older & professionally produced ponies
He has taken his borrowed tiny jockey from never having been in the ring to being placed 9th at HOYS, all within a 12 month period
Squidge is our 3rd and last of 3 full brothers, bred by Mr T J Jones under the Nantdywyll prefix (hence the borrowed jockey) Mr Jones came from the original Coed Coch Stud, from which he has bred an outstanding line of successful ponies
Squidge has inherited this fantastic temperament, movement and confirmation of a true Welsh Mountain pony
Very easy to do in all ways, broken off the lead, hacks out alone or in company - Good with farrier, clip catch load etc fully vaccinated
Not spooky or quirky, very straight forward as attested by leading the Lead Reins into the HOYS ring, without a murmur - As he is only 5, Squidge’s best is yet to come
He knows his job so would suit amateur or professional alike who wants to combine winning with ease and safety
