Coup D'Or

COUP D'OR   Champion Stallion 2010

Coupe d'Or was radiant and sovereign winner of the 2010 licensing of the Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg-International in Vechta. From the breeding of the family of the multiple medalist at WC and Olympic Games Sandra Auffahrt, Coup d'Or reveals capital jumping ability that leaves nothing to be desired: With sheer unlimited ability and the best leg technique and bascule, he masters everything you set in front of him with the greatest of ease. This special ability earned the highest scores at the 30-day test in 2011 in Neustadt/Dosse, which he finished in the top group of his year.

In the meantime, Coupe d'Or won and placed with the best in tests for young show jumpers and qualified for the 2013' Bundeschampionat. At the age of seven, he was allowed to compete at advanced level, in which he achieved high placings under Jens Rensen in 2015 already. Coupe d'Or is now trained carefully for the big international sport and, therefore, his semen is available frozen only. In breeding he made a great debut too: In fall 2014 his first two sons, including the OS Champion Stallion Coup Gold, were licensed. In 2015, his eldest offspring were successful in riding horse ability classes.

The ancestors in his pedigree give good reason for high expectations: His sire Coupe de Coeur met the requirements for licensing through his own performance record in show jumping. In 2006 as well as 2007 he took the German Champion title in show jumping with Rene Tebbel, won the World Cup of Oslo and, with two clear rounds in Barcelona, helped the German team to their victory in the Nations Cup Super League. His dam Rivera is by Rivero xx, a large-sized Thoroughbred stallion with strong movements. And with jumper-makers such as Lordanos, Grannus, Wanderer, Pik König and Weiler, each and every generation of his dam's family is filled with heroes in German jumper breeding. The great granddam, Winga, is the dam of the international show jumper, Archie Bunker (by Contender), who won the Grand Prix of Spruce Meadows (Canada) in 2010 with John Pearce (USA).
